We tapped into our deep-seated understanding of consumer behaviors and trends to formulate a methodology we named "Far Future Trends." Our approach mined data from a wide range of sources to identify emerging cultural shifts and their potential impact on current consumer categories and in the emergence of entirely new categories. The methodology also incorporated the organization's existing technological capabilities and brand equities, determining which could be leveraged to address future needs, and highlighting areas where new capabilities or brands would be needed.
