It can be really scary to emphasize what makes your brand different, let alone to point out its quirkiness or even own up to a little bit of weirdness when everyone else is talking about how they’re the same or better. But if your category is saturated and your brand is getting beaten up by the competition, it’s a strong signal that you’re too much like everyone else.
